JEFF MANGIAT CREATES A BIG SPLASH OF SURREALISM FOR TROPICANA

This was a development project through Sterling Brands for a Tropicana product called Tropolis. Jeff created an alternate world for kids to explore: fantastical, bright, surreal and full of fruit. The concept was inspired by different wonders of the world. These three fantasy environments, in extreme perspective, are made out of cherries, apples and grapes twisting and turning through hills, mountains, and valleys.

LINDA NYE TAKES US ON A BIOLOGICAL TOUR DOWN BACTERIA LANE

Linda Nye created these images for the Discovery Place Science Museum exhibit "THEM" in Charlotte, North Carolina. "THEM", was an exhibit on microbes that cause disease. The series was chosen in the Institutional Category for the Communication Arts 51st Illustration Annual.

This panel focuses on the bacteria E. coli that abound in the large intestine. Normally they help digest food and destroy damaging microbes.

This panel focuses on the bacteria H. Pylori moving into the mucous layer on the epithelial cell lining damaging those cells.

This panel focuses on the bacteria that stick to teeth causing tooth decay, and are blocked by more harmful microbes.

The images are in the pull out clear tube to simulate a "core sample" of the organ (skin, gums, stomach, colon).

DAHL TAYLOR PUTS HIS IMPERIAL DESIGN ON THE SHELVES-- JUST IN TIME FOR ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

All design, images & names are trademark & copyright: Boston Beer Company, Inc.

"I was asked to do the renderings for this new series of labels by a very talented designer, Matt Moffatt at Boston Beer. He incorporated them into these elegant, fresh designs. These finally arrived at the local beverage center. I did see digital images before but it is still a thrill to have the actual packaging in hand, to say nothing of the fine product inside!"
